SA8000 Certification

The SA8000 standard regulates compliance with fundamental principles of a company's social responsibility, such as the prohibition of using child and/or forced labor.

The SA8000 standard regulates compliance with fundamental principles of a company's Social Accountability, such as the prohibition of using child and/or forced labor, health and safety in the workplace, freedom of association, the absence of discrimination, fairness in disciplinary procedures, compliance with working hours, and fairness in remuneration.

Mont-Ele's social responsibility management system was certified on January 28, 2020, in accordance with SA8000:2014®. This certification attests to the validity of the actions implemented by the Company and the Social Performance Team.

The SA8000:2014® management system represents for Mont-Ele the general operational framework by virtue of which the organization is able to ensure complete compliance of its performance in the field of Social Responsibility with reference to the requirements of the Standard.

Mont-Ele management therefore reaffirms its commitment to maintaining the SA8000:2014® Management System active and operational, and to continuously improving its effectiveness.
